WebCam Monitor - программа, предназначенная для работы с веб-камерами. Позволяет вести наблюдение и видеозапись, сохраняя в памяти либо непрерывный видеоролик, либо отдельные кадры с заданным междуутоком времени, регистрирующие изменения (движение) в поле зрения камеры.
Снятые кадры могут автоматически отправляться на удаленный FTP-сервер, оформляясь в виде веб-страницы, структуру которой (заголовки, подписи, оформление) можно настроить. Для связи с FTP-сервером WebCam Monitor, если нет постоянного соединения с интернетом, может самостоятельно дозваниваться до провайдера. Кроме этого, программа умеет опоговорить о произошедших изменениях (движении) по электронной почте.
